Power restored to Adamsville area following crash into pole

By Staff Report

An individual driving a red Oldsmobile Alero will be cited for failure to control according to a trooper with the Ohio State Highway Patrol Tuesday afternoon.

The vehicle was traveling toward Dresden on State Route 208 when it took a corner too fast, went off the right side of the road and struck a utility pole.

The driver of the vehicle was uninjured.

A representative from AEP Ohio stated that around 100 customers were without power in the Adamsville area.

Power has since been restored, and only 3-4 customers are currently without power, with an estimated restore time of 3:30 p.m.
