The Blue Knights are hosting the Annual Blue Knights Ball on Saturday, Feb. 23 to benefit the Zanesville High School band program.

The ball is from 7 to 10 p.m. and features jazz music performances by current students in the ZHS Blue Knights band and the Rusty Knights — a group of ZHS alumni jazz performers.

“It’s mainly a good opportunity to hear some of the students who have worked so hard,” Jeff Ball, president of the band boosters, said.

For those that need a little extra help in the dancing department, there will be dance lessons at the beginning of the ball to prepare for the performances and swing music.

Refreshments will be available along with a silent auction.

Tickets will be available at the door of the OUZ and Zane State Campus Center the night of the event. Student tickets cost $5, senior tickets cost $8, adult tickets cost $11 and couples tickets are $20.
