Nearly 1,400 residents in New Concord without power

A power outage has left about 1,369 residents without power in the New Concord area.

According to an AEP Ohio Media Representative, AEP crews are on scene investigating the cause of the outage. It appears to be an equipment issue that is causing the outage.

The current estimated time of restoration is 10 p.m. AEP originally said the restoration time would be midnight.
