Furry Friend Friday: Chloe rambunctiously waiting for a new family
December 14, 2018
Chloe was originally brought into the Muskingum County Dog Warden and Adoption Center last spring. She was adopted but, unfortunately, brought back one month later as she was too strong for the family that had taken her in.
The female terrier-mix is a medium-sized, all black dog with a white chest patch and plenty of energy to go around. She’s about 3 and a half years old.
She likes to jump and is about 40 pounds of strength, Deputy Dog Warden Josh Martinez said.
Martinez said Chloe would do best in a home with people who are willing to give her some tender love and care and work to train her.
While she’s strong and can be difficult to handle, Chloe is a volunteer favorite and a very loving furry friend.
Due to her previous adoption, Chloe is spayed and has all necessary shots to make her ready for adoption today.
Chloe likes to be outside and loves peanut butter, Martinez said.
She does well with people and children, although Martinez said she would likely do better in a home with a little bit older children due to her strength. She gets along with some other dogs, but not all. Martinez encourages people with other dogs to bring them for a meet-and-greet to ensure Chloe gets along with them before taking her home.
Chloe is available for adoption at the Muskingum County Dog Warden and Adoption Center. Anyone interested in adopting her can call the center to set up an appointment for a meet-and-greet at 740.453.0273.
All dogs at the adoption center, with the exception of puppies, currently have a discounted adoption fee of $60 due to the number of dogs at the center.
