The man suspected of setting fire to a Wayne Township home Sunday morning has been arrested.

Around 7:30 p.m., Sheriff Matt Lutz said Stephen Niles turned himself in to the Muskingum County Sheriff’s Office.

Niles is accused of arson in connection to a fire on Candlestick Drive in which the home is considered a complete loss.

Both the Muskingum County Sheriff’s Office and state fire marshals launched a day-long investigation after Niles fled in a pickup truck.
