Over 300 without power near Frazeysburg

Update: The restoration time has been moved forward to 5 p.m. from the original inticipated time of 6 p.m.

About 334 people are without power in the area west of Frazeysburg by Raiders Road and Hamby Hill Road.

The area lost power around 1:30 p.m. Tuesday due to an AEP equipment issue, Jessica Wright, an AEP media representative said. Wright said that the issue was not caused by anything weather related as many of the outages in Ohio have been Tuesday.

AEP crews are on currently on scene and power is anticipated to be restored by 5 p.m. Tuesday.

Wright said that some residents in the area may already have their power restored.
