The popular Trail of Treats Halloween event hosted by the Muskingum Valley Park District is making a return this weekend.

On Saturday from 5-7 p.m, children can dress in costume and take a walk along the Collegial Woods Trail behind Ohio University Zanesville to collect plenty of sweets along the way.

More that 40 booths will line the path, manned by volunteers from community organizations and businesses.

Last year’s event drew a crowd of around 2,500 people.

The cost of admission is $1 per child. Food and drinks will be available for sale throughout the evening.
