Man arrested in Norwood drug raid arraigned Tuesday morning

David Doyle of Zanesville appeared before Judge William Joseph for an arraignment at the Zanesville Municipal Court Tuesday morning.
Doyle was arrested during a drug raid at 2202 Norwood Boulevard on Oct. 3.
Due to Doyle’s seven charges being of felonious nature, he was not able to plead during the arraignment.
His preliminary hearing is scheduled for Oct. 11 in the Zanesville Municipal Court unless he is indicted. If Doyle is indicted, he will be transferred to the Muskingum County Court of Common Pleas for the remainder of his case, according to an employee in the clerk’s office.
Doyle is being charged with Trafficking in Drugs, a 3rd degree felony, Trafficking in Drugs, a 2nd degree felony, Possession of Drugs (Methamphetamine), a 2nd degree felony, Possession of Drugs (Cocaine), a 2nd degree felony, Possession of Drugs (hydrocodone), a 5th degree felony, Permitting Drug Abuse, a 5th degree felony and Having Weapons Under Disability, a 3rd degree felony, according to a media release from the Zanesville Police Department.
If convicted on all seven charges, Doyle faces up to 32 years in prison.
His bond remains set at $500,000.
