Man faces up to 32 years in prison after drug raid on Norwood Blvd.

One man was arrested Wednesday afternoon during a drug raid on Norwood Boulevard.

David Lee Doyle, 33, of Zanesville was taken into custody during the raid at 2202 Norwood Boulevard.

The search warrant was served by the Muskingum County and Zanesville City Joint Drug Unit along with the Central Ohio Drug Enforcement Task Force, Muskingum County Sheriff’s Office and the Zanesville Police Department.

During the search on Norwood, authorities seized over 100 grams of methamphetamine, over 20 grams of cocaine, marijuana, unspecified pills, about $30,000 in cash, three vehicles and two handguns.

Doyle is being charged with Trafficking in Drugs, a 3rd degree felony, Trafficking in Drugs, a 2nd degree felony, Possession of Drugs (Methamphetamine), a 2nd degree felony, Possession of Drugs (Cocaine), a 2nd degree felony, Possession of Drugs (hydrocodone), a 5th degree felony, Permitting Drug Abuse, a 5th degree felony, and Having Weapons Under Disability a 3rd degree felony, according to a media release from the Zanesville Police Department.

If convicted of the charges, Doyle faces up to 32 years in prison.

Doyle is currently being held at the Zanesville City Jail on a $500,000 bond.

More arrests are expected to be made in the near future in relation to this investigation.
