The Muskingum Valley League champions from this season took to the Eaglesticks course in Zanesville on Monday morning, hoping to continue their success from earlier this season.

Powered by a team featuring four seniors, Jonah Hanes, Chase Karling, Jack Williams and Derek Graham and one junior,  Bo Orecchio, the Little Muskies earned a third place team finish in the district tournament. Finishing with a team score of 332.092, they trailed only St. Clairsville and now district champions Coshocton.

Williams – 40(F), 41(B), 81 overall

Graham – 40(F), 42(B), 82 overall

Hanes – 43(F), 40(B), 83 overall

Karling – 43(F), 43(B), 86 overall

Orecchio – 45(F), 47(B), 92 overall

John Glenn misses the cut for the state tournament, with no individual qualifiers. However, the high finish for the Muskies and the conference championship from earlier this year is sure to keep the teams’ heads held high.
