Authorities searching for missing Zanesville teen

A teenage girl was reported as a runaway juvenile from a foster home in Zanesville on Sept. 8.

Deputies with the Muskingum County Sheriff’s Department are searching for 17 year-old Haley Marie Mitchell.

Mitchell was last seen on Sept. 7 wearing a red Lifeguard hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans and black tennis shoes.

A release from the Sheriff’s Department states that Mitchell could be in Newark or Heath, OH in Licking County.

The teen is 5’1″ and 98 pounds with blue eyes and blonde hair. She also has a nose piercing.

Mitchell has been at the foster home in Zanesville for about two-and-a-half weeks, according to the release.
