Zanesville Local Schools announced late Monday night that the district would be reinstating their face mask mandate.

The order, issued by the Board of Education, will last for two weeks, beginning Tuesday, September 7.

The school system has had to cancel multiple athletic competitions including the highly anticipated football game between the Zanesville Blue Devils and the Tri-Valley Scotties that was to be played last Friday, September 3.

As of 9 p.m. on Monday, September 6, it appears the mandate only currently applies to high school students and staff.
