A portion of Adams Lane will be closed throughout the day Friday.

According to the Muskingum County Engineer’s Office, repairs are needed for a portion of guardrail above Joes Run.

From 9 a.m. until 2 p.m., Friday, the road will be closed to vehicular traffic between State Route 146 and Somers Street.

No more information was provided by the Engineer’s Office, but motorists should expect delays and plan alternative routes.
