Southbound traffic is flowing again on Maple Avenue following a three car accident at the intersection of Fairmont Avenue around 5 p.m.

One of the drivers involved in the crash said she was waiting to turn left onto Fairmont from Maple when she was waved on by another driver.

The woman said that as she was turning, a SUV driving down Maple struck her car, causing her to crash into another vehicle at the stop sign on Fairmont.

The driver said she and the others involved were not injured.

Dents on both sides of the turning car were apparent, while the SUV and the car on Fairmont sustained mostly front-end damage.

Police on scene could not comment on what happened.
