The Zanesville Police Department is asking for the public’s help with any information they might have on a shooting that occurred Wednesday night at the State Street Market.

According to Detective Phil Michel, at 8:44 p.m. officers responded to a call of a vehicle that was shot while parked at that location.

The incident is believed to have occurred between 8 p.m. and 8:30 p.m.

Michel says the victim had driven home and then discovered that the vehicle had been struck with a bullet.

No injuries were reported.

Detectives are investigating the incident and working to discover additional evidence.
