His wins helped push John Glenn to a 10th-place finish at the tournament in Division II. Fellow Little Muskie Karlie Zumbro finished with a bronze medal in the 300-meter hurdles with a time of 43.61, fifth in the 100-meter hurdles and sixth in the long jump.

Anna Foster of Sheridan took home the gold in the 3200 run and set a new state track meet record in the process at 10:34.34.

Crooksville took home a state champion as well from the tournament in Division III, with Teck Kirkpatrick topping the field in the high jump at 6’9″ while shattering his own school record.

Maysville’s Keith Bryan earned a second place finish in the Div. II high jump, missing the gold by an inch. Shelby’s Uriah Schwemley took home the championship jump with a mark of 6’6″.

Sheridan had the best finish of any Zanesville area team, taking home a third-place finish on the boys side with a score of 39 points, behind Dunbar (44) and champion Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy (51). Ethan Tabor finished as a runner-up in two events — long jump and 300-meter hurdles — but was an integral part of the Generals high finish, contributing 19 points of his own to the team tally.

Sheridan also finished seventh in the 4×200 relay, with a combination of Tabor, Jacob Rhodes, Jarrett Munyan and Noah Herda.
