More summer activities permitted in Ohio
May 21, 2020
The State of Ohio is loosening more of its restrictions regarding summer activities.
Lt. Governor Jon Husted announced Thursday that bowling alleys, mini-golf courses and batting cages can also open May 26 when non-contact sports resume.
Additionally, high school athletic skills training programs for contact sports may also resume that day.
Regarding wedding receptions, banquets and similar events, Husted said such celebrations will be permitted under similar guidelines as restaurants and bars.
Banquet and reception centers can open June 1 and will be limited to 300 occupants.
