Cases still increasing in Muskingum County as businesses prepare to open

On the eve of the re-opening of Ohio’s retail businesses for the first time in weeks, the Zanesville-Muskingum County Health Department is reporting several new cases of COVID-19 as of Monday, May 11.
According to the health department, 26 individuals in the county have tested positive for the virus while another six are considered probable cases for a total case count of 32.
Two new residents tested positive for the coronavirus as of Monday, with case 28 being a 50-year-old woman and case 32 being a 30-year-old man.
The woman’s case is not related to any previous cases.
Both patients are at home recovering.
Three additional cases, 29 through 31, are also being investigated.
According to the health department, a 35-year-old woman may be infected in relation to case 28, a 45-year-old man may be infected in relation to case 24 and a 32-year-old man may be infected in relation to case 23.
There are currently no hospitalizations and 16 recovered patients.
Six individuals have previously been hospitalized for COVID-19.

We would have many more cases if the state would stop denying testing. Doctors have to have the states permission to check a patient even if they tick every box of symptoms and high risk . Hold them accountable. Make no mistake a second wave with hit with much more force and many more deaths.

The danger is increasing. If it keeps going at this rate,. we’ll see over a hundred and fifty cases by the end of the month.
