Colony Square Mall to reopen Tuesday

The Colony Square Mall has announced it will be reopening this Tuesday after being closed for several weeks due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Sherri Velliquette, Marketing Manager for the mall, provided Y-City News with the following statement.
“Colony Square Mall has taken the lead to institute safety procedures to ensure the health and safety of our tenants, our employees, our guest and the community which remains our number one priority. The Management Team is focused on providing a safe, sanitary shopping experience and will continue to monitor any changes as they may evolve under the direction of the State of Ohio, City of Zanesville, CDC, and the Zanesville-Muskingum County Health Department.”
The phased reopening will be operating on modified hours, with the first hour reserved for senior citizens and at-risk shoppers.
The food court will continue to be operated as a pick-up only service and customers, as well as shoppers, will not be allowed to eat in the dining area.
Individual business operating hours and dates may vary.
The current modified hours are as followed:
- Monday-Saturday: 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
- Sunday: 12 p.m. to 6 p.m.
