Emergency funding available to qualified Muskingum County residents through JFS

Emergency funding is now available to assist Muskingum County residents struggling to make necessary payments during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Certain households are eligible to receive COVID-19 Disaster Assistance through Muskingum County Job and Family Services to make payments for things such as rent, deposits, utilities, temporary housing assistance, mortgages, vehicles, child care and other expenses related to the pandemic.
Funding is income-based and only available to applicants in Muskingum County who either have dependent children under the age of 19 and have been adversely affected by the pandemic or are 55 and older without dependent children and have been adversely affected by the pandemic.
Additionally, the following financial qualifications must be met based on 200 percent poverty guidelines and the applicant’s income received in the last 30 days prior to applying:

What about the ones that have no children at home and is not 55 and over? I have been out of work since all this had started .no income and just got welfare food stamps a week ago.still haven’t been able to file for unemployment.i don’t think o get the stimulus check cuz of oweing child support .It’s just not far .I’m behind on rent and my electric bill.
