Foxfire student arrested after making threats
February 3, 2020
A Foxfire High School student is in custody Monday after making threats against the school and students, said Sheriff Matt Lutz.
The arrest was made around 12:30 p.m.
Lutz said the threats were reported to the school resource officer, which prompted the investigation leading to the student being taken into custody. The school was not placed under lockdown during that time, Lutz said.
The 14 year-old is currently being held at the juvenile detention center awaiting charges.
