Authorities searching for runaway teens

The Muskingum County Sheriff’s Office is searching for a missing 16-year-old who authorities believe ran away with his 15-year-old girlfriend.

On Jan. 7, 16 year-old Ian Nissley ran away from his home in Muskingum County.

Authorities believe Nissley may be with his 15 year-old girlfriend, Alexis Dooley, who lives in Etna. Dooley is also a runaway.

According to the MCSO, a threatening note was found in Nissley’s room after he ran away. It’s unknown if the teenage couple has any weapons with them.

The MCSO added that this is not the first time the duo has run away together.

Nissley is 5-foot-10-inches tall and weighs 137 pounds. He has black hair, brown eyes and a scar on his left cheek. He was last seen wearing a red hoodie and grey jeans.

Dooley is a white female. She is 5-foot-tall and weighs 120 pounds. The teenager has blonde hair and blue eyes. She was last seen wearing a sweatshirt and polka dot pants.
