From poinsettias to elaborate holiday center pieces, Imlay Florists is making arrangements for everyone in the holiday spirit.

Whether it’s taking a bouquet to the family gathering or sending flowers to a friend, Imlay has a variety of arrangements themed for the holidays.

Manager Donna Evans and Owner Dave Imlay said it isn’t just flowers they sell for the holidays. Other Imlay specials include wreathes, lanterns, cemetery pieces, ornaments, fruit baskets, snack baskets, candy baskets and more.

Now through Christmas, Imlay is offering 50 percent off holiday gift ware, which does not include poinsettias and floral arrangements.

The most popular arrangement from Imlay this holiday season has been Thomas Kinkade’s Festive Fire Station Bouquet.

“We get to put smiles on people’s faces,” Evans said. “Maybe they haven’t heard from a loved one throughout the year.”

Since 1912, Imlay has been a good-standing affiliate of Florists Tansworld Delivery (FTD). Imlay was one of the organization’s original 54 charter members, Imlay said.

A few years after that partnership began, Imlay also became an affiliate of Teleflora.

Those organizations allow customers to order bouquets through Imlay that can be delivered far beyond the borders of Muskingum County. Imlay said those affiliations help the business serve their local customers who may have friends and family that live out of town.

Imlay Florists itself does deliver within Muskingum County and out to Cambridge.
