Man killed on roadway after being hit by vehicle on Route 16
OSP, Muskingum County Coroner, Special Removal Services and Frazeysburg Fire and EMS were all on the scene.

The Muskingum County Coroner pronounced a man dead on OH-16 after the man was struck by at least one vehicle Monday morning.
The man was driving westbound on OH-16 when he pulled off the side of the highway and exited his truck, according to an Ohio State Highway Patrol Trooper of the Zanesville Post. After the man got out of his truck he was struck by at least one vehicle.
The Muskingum County Coroner pronounced the man dead on the scene.
OSP received the call regarding the incident at 6:58 a.m.
No other information is being released at this time as the scene is still under investigation.
OSP, Muskingum County Coroner Special Removal Services and Frazeysburg fire and EMS were all on the scene.
A portion of OH-16 west has been closed throughout the investigation.

Need to ask public to check security cameras from every exit from Frazeysburg to Columbus for any video they have of the possible assailant and/or vehicle.
