Mideast Buffalo on soft lockdown while deputies pursue man on foot

The Mideast Career and Technology Centers’ Buffalo Campus in Senecaville is currently on what is being classified as a soft lockdown, according to superintendent Richard Hall.

The lockdown was requested by the Guernsey County Sheriff’s Office for an incident in the area but not directly involving the school.

According to the Guernsey County Sheriff’s Office, deputies were pursuing a man who bailed on foot near the Buffalo Campus.

The school was put on lockdown as a precautionary measure.

No other information has been released at this time.
