The Zanesville Municipal Airport will see some improvements after ODOT awarded the City of Zanesville an aviation grant.

The airport’s alternate runway will receive new lighting that will be place a little closer to the pavement than what’s currently there.

The total cost of the project is $450,000, with ODOT fronting 95 percent of the cost and the City 5 percent at $22,500.
