September 28, 2018
For fans of wings and wheels, the Zanesville Municipal Airport is the place to be this weekend.
Saturday Sept. 29 marks the 6th annual Fall Fly-In, Drive-In, and Car Show hosted by the EAA Vintage Chapter 22.
From 8 a.m. until about 4 p.m., visitors will have the chance to see more than 100 local aircraft, including the B-25 Bomber “Champagne Gal” and Ohio University’s DC-3 Flying Lab.
Rides on the B-25 will be available to the public Friday through Sunday.
Scenic air rides will also be given.
Additionally, around 200 motor vehicles will be entered into a car show, according to Nick Crate, secretary of EAA Vintage Chapter 22.
Combined with the Fly-In, Drive-In, Car show this year is the 12th annual Mid-East Ohio Model Engineering Expo which runs both Saturday and Sunday.
Food will be available on site, as well as the chance to win door prizes.
The show is free and open to the public.
