Early results show Balderson winning Muskingum County

By Staff Report

As of 7:30 p.m., polls for Ohio’s special election have closed and early results for Muskingum County project hometown favoritism toward Troy Balderson (R-OH) in the race for Ohio’s 12th District Representative against Danny O’Connor (D-OH) and Joe Manchik (GR-OH).

Unofficial results show Balderson winning 7,291 to 3,733 over O’Connor in Muskingum County. The votes for the county do not reflect the official tallies that the Board of Elections will release later this month, nor do the county results reflect the overall results of the 12th Congressional District.

Green Party Representative, Joe Manchik, received 94 votes as of the unofficial tally.
