A woman was injured this afternoon after being involved in a two car accident at the intersection of Putnam Avenue and Pierce Street in Zanesville.

According to Zanesville Police, the driver of a SUV ran a red light, striking a pickup truck.

The driver of the SUV was cited for running the light, and the driver of the pickup truck was cited for driving with a suspended license.

A passenger in the pickup truck was taken to the hospital for non-life threatening injuries.
