Monday afternoon the Muskingum County Joint Unified Command is reporting a Duncan Falls Elementary student has tested positive for the Coronavirus.

Due to HIPAA regulations, the identity of the student is not being released, however, those who were exposed to the individual are being contacted.

According to the Unified Command, the school is working closely with officials to handle the situation and limit any further exposure.

The announcement comes after both a Rosecrans High School student and a West Muskingum Elementary student were both reported to have tested positive over the extended Labor Day weekend.

Those families of children who were exposed will be given further instructions on how to quarantine.
