All three drivers involved in an accident along State Route 93 Wednesday afternoon are in stable condition or have returned home since their transportation to different hospitals.

The driver of the red Ford F-250 truck that went left-of-center, causing the crash, was taken to the Ohio State University Wexner by MedFlight. According to a trooper with the Ohio State Highway Patrol, the driver, 43 year-old Jason Grannon, is in stable condition but remains hospitalized.

The two other drivers involved in the crash, Debbie Craig and Stacie Taggart, both went to the hospital but were released Wednesday, the trooper said.

Around 3:50 p.m. Wednesday, Grannon was driving southbound on SR-93 when his red Ford F-250 went left-of-center causing Grannon to hit a GMC Yukon driven by Taggart who was traveling northbound, according to a release from OSP.

The truck continued off the left side of the road before re-entering the roadway. Grannon then hit another vehicle that was driving north along SR-93, a Toyota FJ Cruiser driven by Craig.

After striking the second vehicle, Gannon’s truck continued off the roadway hitting a guardrail, the release states.

When authorities arrived on scene of the accident, Grannon was helped out of his truck. The man told first responders that there was a passenger in his truck at the time of the accident, prompting responders to begin looking for a passenger.

According to the trooper, the Roseville Fire Chief was able to contact the woman believed to be in Grannon’s truck and found that she was at home at the time of the incident.

In addition to the three drivers, there was also a dog in Taggart’s SUV. The animal appeared unharmed in the incident.

The crash remains under investigation by the Ohio State Highway Patrol. No one has been cited, but charges are likely pending completion of the investigation.
