Two flee scene of trailer fire

Around noon Saturday, crews from several local fire departments responded to the scene of a fully involved trailer near County Road 6 in Coshocton County.

According to Fire Chief Randy March of the Conesville Volunteer Fire Department, two individuals fled the scene of the fire, and no persons were found inside the structure.

The incident is still under investigation by local authorities, and Chief March indicated the State Fire Marshal may be assisting with inspections Monday.

Power to the residence was disconnected three weeks ago according, to a local power-lineman.

Multiple officers from the Coshocton County Sheriff’s Office, assisted by the department’s K-9 unit, were actively searching for the two individuals observed leaving the scene.

Conesville Fire Department was assisted by Jackson Township Fire Department, Three Rivers Fire Department and Dresden Fire Department, as well as Coshocton County EMS.
