Applications for the Muskingum County Community Foundation Spring Grant competition go live one week from today.

On Monday, Feb. 25, applications will become available on the MCCF website for local organizations to submit their ideas.

Grants are intended for Muskingum County nonprofit organizations with visions for the community that would enhance the quality of life for those within.

Ideal recipients will submit ideas for projects and programs that address community needs and potentially impact one of the four MCCF Cornerstone focus areas of Economic Vitality, Arts and Culture, Education and Wellness and Recreation. However, it’s not a requirement of applicants to target a Cornerstone.

The funds distributed through the annual grant competition were raised during the MCCF Groundhog event and auction on Feb. 1.

Applications must be submitted online by Friday, March 22 at noon.

For more information, visit www.mccf.org or contact the Muskingum County Community Foundation at (740) 453-5192 or giving@mccf.org.
