A Zanesville woman died Thursday night after the car she was a passenger of crashed into a Family Dollar sign on Maysville Ave.

According to Zanesville City Police, 27-year-old Whitney Noble was an occupant of a 2008 Honda Accord driven by a 41-year-old male.

The vehicle was found by Zanesville City Police around 11:38 p.m. on a regular patrol.

According to police, 911 dispatch had not received a call about the accident.

The 41-year-old driver was taken to Genesis Hospital and according to police was able to speak about the incident. His condition is unknown at this time.

The signpost has minor damage, and there is vehicle debris around the crash site.

Zanesville City Police are still investigating the collision. No cause for the accident has been released at this time.
