After the Thanksgiving meals are through and the dishes are washed, saving room for a second round of dessert could make an impact on the community this Friday.

Whether it’s fuel to power through Black Friday shopping or an escape from leftover turkey sandwiches, anyone who eats at IHOP between 1 and 8 p.m. on Nov. 23 can apply a portion of their bill to the United Way of Muskingum, Perry and Morgan Counties.

Anyone who spends $10 or more can ask to have 20 percent of the bill donated to the United Way, enough to feed a person in need a hot meal.

The fundraiser applies to both dine-in and carryout customers.
