Tonight, Weasel Boy will be filled with people dressed for Halloween. Come tomorrow, it wouldn’t be a surprise to find some lingering costumes, but not because the party carried over into Sunday.

Instead, Weasel Boy Brewing will host the Y-City Con in partnership with Mass Media Comics of Zanesville.

From 10 a.m. until 4 p.m., comic fans can browse dozens of dealer and artist tables throughout the brewery.

“Our goal is to provide area citizens the opportunity to come enjoy graphic and sequential art and share their fandom with like-minded people,” said Chad Sinnott, owner of Mass Media Comics.

Along with a silent auction and giveaways, visitors will have the chance to meet the special guest of the day, Sandy Plunkett.

Plunkett, who now lives in Athens, began his early comic book career in New York City as an artist for DC and Marvel Comics.

Admission to the event is $5, which includes a comic book and a chance at winning a prize package valued at $200.
