New property values are available for viewing in Muskingum County on the Auditor’s website.

More than 65,000 parcel values have been updated within the county as a result of a six year-long state-mandated reappraisal conducted by county appraisers and contractors in which property details and recent sales were all analyzed and reviewed, according to a press release from the Muskingum County Auditor’s Office.

Property owners have the opportunity to discuss their 2018 market values during several informal hearings beginning Friday, Oct. 12.

All hearings are held from 11 a.m. until 7 p.m. at the following locations:

  • Friday, Oct. 12- Anchor Lodge #283 F. AM. Masonic Lodge, Mound Street, Duncan Falls
  • Monday, Oct. 15- Meadow View Church of Christ 6750, Raiders Road, Frazeysburg
  • Tuesday, Oct. 16- Newton Township Fire Department, 5490 Maysville Pike, Zanesville
  • Wednesday, Oct. 17- New Concord Village Hall (basement), 2 West Main Street, New Concord
  • Thursday, Oct. 18- Adamsville Community Building, 8200 Madison Street, Adamsville
  • Friday, Oct. 19- Muskingum County Center for Seniors, 160 N. 4th Street, Zanesville

Anyone attending a hearing with intentions to lower a property’s market value is asked by the Auditor’s Office to provide recent sales data or an appraisal.
