Baby dies inside car in Zanesville

A one-month old baby boy has died after being found inside a car on one of the hottest days of the year in Zanesville.
Around 6:25 p.m. Tuesday evening, the Muskingum County Sheriff’s Office received a call about the baby not breathing at Eagleview Apartments located at 80 Eagleview Drive in Zanesville.
Sheriff’s Deputies respond to the call of a baby found inside a car at Eagleview Apartments in Zanesville in a photo taken by a resident at the complex.
Deputies found the baby unresponsive inside the car and performed CPR until EMS responders arrived, but the medics were unable to save him.
The baby was pronounced dead on the scene.
According to Sheriff Matt Lutz, the investigation is ongoing, and while an autopsy has not yet been done, the early indication is that the baby died due to high temperatures.
Temperatures in Zanesville reached a high of 93 degrees on Tuesday.
No arrests have been made at this time, but authorities have contacted the parents and a criminal investigation is underway.

My opinion is if can’t remember u have sweet lil innocent human being baby in the car with u you shouldn’t even think about having any kids…Your not fit to be a parent…Who forgets a baby in a car after u held him in ur belly for 9 months of his life COME ON NOW that’s just plan out disgusting for real an honestly anyone in there right mind that has children knows take ur child inside 1st and get them taking care of THEN go get ur groceries or whatever else outta the car….Children are not replaceable like other things…She should be charged for Murder for both innocent babies that died in her care…2017 one died an now a year goes by an she kills another one F*** That…She deserves life in Prison

Tragic..why in the world would anyone leave a baby or any child in a car regardless of the weather.. this poor little baby lost his little life due to a senseless careless act of a person who was supposed to to protect him with their own life..I can’t even imagine the loss or how I would live with my self.. what punishment is going to justify this little baby .. nothing will bring him back.. so heartbroken for him

Terrible. Was told that this was the second 1 month old child that has died in their care. The other month old child passed in March 2017. Somebody should be worried about the other children in their care

I agree they should be investigated bcuz that’s just a lil to odd.sorry you can’t forget you have a child in the backseat come on now. Even if people are strung out on drugs they know to take a child out of car. If you don’t want your cold then do what’s right and takes your baby there not torture it. The one thing we do know is that precious baby is with Jesus now and taken care of.

They deserve the death penalty. This was no accident, they deliberately did not bring their baby inside where it was safe. You can’t forget you have a baby. If you can, you certainly should be sterilized.

How Does a person Forget their child is in the backseat and they say put something important in your backseat to remind you you dont check on them when they are back there to make sure their heads are positioned properly and they are comfortable If your child isn’t important enough to remember then you shouldn’t have been a parent nor had children your a worthless parent

This parent needs prosecuted under full extent of the law. Murder!!!! There are no excuses for this. It happens to often . How the hell does a parent forget they have a child? We have to tell the put notes on door handles or throw your shoe in the back so you remember your child. No. This is unacceptable. Charge them with murder. With consequences maybe these worthless parents will remember. I hope these soulless , worthless animal suffer the rest of their lives. But without consequences they won’t. Their child obviously didn’t mean that much to them

i feel that the peron or persons that leave these children in a hot car should be done the same! take all locks and window handles off the car and sit the car in where everyone can see them and there is no chance of shade and it is sun shine beaming down in the car and throw their asses in there and walk off!
