One crash led to another on SR 146 in front of Zane State College Wednesday afternoon leaving more than one person injured.

According to the Zanesville Police Department, the driver of a gray sedan rear-ended another vehicle stopped in traffic.

Shortly after, a white pickup truck driving up on the accident didn’t stop in time, crashing into a red sedan and continuing into the gray sedan stopped from the previous accident.

Both the drivers of the gray sedan and white pickup truck were cited for assured clear distance ahead.

According to the ZPD, those taken to the hospital had non-life threatening injuries.
