Genesis HealthCare System announced Friday afternoon that they would be expanding registration for individuals who were born with or have had early childhood conditions that carried into adulthood, which places them at a higher risk for adverse outcomes due to COVID-19.

According to a representative with Genesis, the registration process is now open for community members with the following conditions:

  • Sickle cell anemia
  • Down syndrome
  • Cystic fibrosis
  • Muscular dystrophy
  • Cerebral palsy
