Sirens activated in Muskingum County warning residents to take shelter

Sirens are sounding off throughout Muskingum County as more severe weather is underway Tuesday evening.
Residents are being advised to shelter in place until the current storm passes, according to Muskingum County EMA Director Jeff Jadwin.
Muskingum County is currently under a severe thunderstorm warning issued by the National Weather Service until 8:30 p.m.
Wind gusts up to 60 mph are expected with the storm.
Just before 7:30 p.m., sirens were activated in Frazeysburg after firefighters spotted what was believed to be a tornado.

Could barely hear it just enough to open the door in the storm to see if it was going off. And still with the wind it was barely audible. Live near ZHS and during the practice ones on Weds. while inside it is not easy to hear. Why not let them sound until the threat is over, even if it is an hour.
