A man driving a silver Honda Civic was cited for several offenses Friday morning following an accident along SR-60 north of Narrows Road in Cass Township.

Emergency personnel responded to a call around 10:30 a.m. of a possible two or three car injury accident. When authorities arrived they found multiple individuals with minor injuries, two were transported to Genesis Hospital.

According to an Ohio State Highway Patrol trooper, the single occupant and driver of the silver Honda Civic was traveling northbound along SR-60 when he crossed the center line, sideswiping a white GMC Sierra pickup truck, before hitting a white Chrysler 200 head-on and sending the Chrysler into a guardrail.

The single occupant and female driver of the white Chrysler 200 and the male driver of the silver Honda Civic were both transported to the hospital. The female passenger of the white GMC Sierra pickup truck reported possible minor injuries, however, she was not transported.

The driver of the silver Honda Civic was cited for going left of center, operating an unsafe vehicle, operating a vehicle impaired (OVI), and possession of drug paraphernalia.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol and Dresden Fire & EMS were all on scene.
