An altercation between two truck drivers off I-70 sent one to the hospital Tuesday afternoon.

According to Muskingum County Sheriff Matt Lutz, two semi-trucks became involved in a minor fender bender at Love’s Travel Stop off Sonora Road.

While arguing who was at fault, a man got out of his truck and climbed the other semi.

Lutz said the man fell and hit his head when the woman behind the wheel slammed on her brakes, knocking the man out upon impact.

The man was taken to Genesis Hospital for non-life threatening injuries.

The driver left the truck stop and was later stopped by a deputy farther down I-70 west near the State Street exit.

According to Lutz, no charges are being filed at this time, but evidence will be presented to prosecutors.
