Authorities are investigating a suspicious death off SR 16 near Frazeysburg.

Around 10 a.m. Sunday, a passerby spotted a man’s body lying in the grass by a culvert at the SR 586 off-ramp, according to Muskingum County Sheriff Matt Lutz.

The Muskingum County Sheriff’s Office was called to the scene.

Detectives are still investigating. No further information is being released at this time.
