A man was taken to Genesis Hospital for minor injuries after going off the road, through a gate and into a tree along Maysville Pike at a residence located across from Arby’s Thursday evening.

According to Muskingum County Sheriff’s Deputy Logan Wisecarver, a medical issue is believed to be the cause of the crash.

Wisecarver said no one at the home was injured.

Alcohol and drugs are not believed to be a factor in the accident.
